Here at Kalypsos we have been sooo busy we didn’t really notice the winter!
Sally, our Director has just returned from a working weekend at one of the biggest Hair & Beauty trade shows in Europe Cosmoprof in Bologna Italy. It had a footfall of 260,000 people! Sally was there representing Skin Candy and promoting the many benefits of sugar hair removal.
The show was a huge success for her, as Sally was able to generate a lot of interest in the product and the training that she provides across the UK.

Our Supermum competition (held on our Facebook page) to nominate a mum you think deserving of a year’s FREE hairdressing was inundated with amazing stories of strength and love.

Do you know anyone who would like to join our amazing team?
We are looking for an experienced full-time hair stylist to meet the demands of our fast-expanding salon.
And
We are looking for a part-time or full-time person who is passionate, confident and flexible to adapt within our salon and become part of the team.
Salary dependant on individual.
Duties will include
- Taking bookings over the phone
- Computer skills
- Physical fitness-as salon assistants are on their feet most of the work day
- Organisational skills
- Meeting and greeting clients
- Communication skills
- Making refreshments
- Shampooing and rinsing colours
- Maintaining high housekeeping standards of the salon
- Perks will be free hair and beauty treatments!
A career in hair is not essential as the role is for a general salon assistant to help assist the daily running of the salon. Training will be given where needed.
