Oh my gosh I hadn’t realised that the last time I posted was April! And what a busy year we’ve had.
Just take a look below to see what we’ve been up to, and on top of all this, I’ve just recently come out of hospital having successfully had my gall bladder removed! Don’t ever say I let the grass grow under my feet….!
And I’m fine thankyou – all went very well! Almost back to normal!

Welcome Jacqui – the BEST there is in the nail business!
Jacqui has been at the forefront of fashion and celebrity work, having worked at international fashion weeks, high profile magazines and photographers and beauty shows as a judge and lecturer. She has 6 Vogue cover shots under her belt as well as ES Magazine, Time Out, Sunday Times, Hello, Cosmopolitan, Tatler and Grazia. She has worked for Givenchy, Alexander McQueen, Ben-de Lisi, John Rocha and Donna Karen to name a few!

Meet our fabulous new Beauty Therapist, Sophie
Sophie has joined the Kalypsos ranks as our in-house beauty therapist/skincare specialist.
She has been trained for over 7 years, she did her training at Bournemouth college where she trained in NVQ level 2 and 3 in beauty therapy.
She then went on to work within a spa where she was for 5 years and did further training in various products and treatments.
Sophie is excited to be part of the team where she will bring all aspects of beauty to the salon including the fantastic Skin candy natural hair removal treatment. Less painful than waxing! Be kind to your skin and kind to the environment.

Congratulations to our stylist Faye on her NVQ Level 2
We want to give our new stylist Faye big congratulations on completing her NVQ Level 2! Faye joined our salon family in September last year and she has worked incredibly hard to achieve this qualification.

Over £4k raised for our local charity BooBs!
We want to say a massive thank you to all those who supported the fundraising event on 27th October, the Kalypsos team had a blast!
BooBs managed to raise over £4k which will go towards supporting local women in need with wigs, mastectomy bras, prostheses as well as the costs of parking and travel to the hospital.
