For 26 years, Kalypsos has had the privilege of serving as Shaftesbury’s most established salon. What began as a small but passionate salon space full of heart, creativity, and a big dream slowly grew into a true community hub.
As word spread and our wonderful client base expanded, we took our first major step by expanding next door into what used to be the local bookshop. Over the decades, hair trends have naturally evolved. From classic foils and sharp cuts to modern grey blending, blonding, and advanced keratin smoothing treatments. Yet, through every decade, our core commitment has remained constant: prioritising hair condition, delivering tailored healthy colour, and offering a friendly, trustworthy service where you feel genuinely cared for.
